Try these with your stencils…

Spray Inking: Place the stencil on your surface and use spray inks or mists to add colour. Hold the spray bottle a few inches away for a softer effect or closer for more intense colour. Move the stencil around to create layered designs.
Stencil Monoprinting: Apply acrylic paint or ink onto the stencil, then press it onto paper or canvas to create a monoprint. This technique adds texture and depth to your artwork.
Texture Paste: Spread texture paste through the stencil using a palette knife to create raised, dimensional designs. Allow the paste to dry completely before adding additional layers of colour or embellishments.
Ink Blending: Use blending tools, such as foam daubers or blending brushes, to apply ink through the stencil. Blend multiple colours together to create gradient effects or use contrasting colours for a bold look.
Embossing: Apply embossing ink through the stencil, then sprinkle embossing powder over the wet ink. Heat the powder with an embossing heat tool to melt it and create a raised, glossy design.
Gel Printing: Place the stencil on a gel printing plate and roll acrylic paint over the stencil using a brayer. Lift the stencil to reveal the print, then transfer it onto paper or fabric for a unique pattern.
Masking: Use the stencil as a mask by laying it on your surface and applying paint or ink around it. Remove the stencil to reveal the negative space, creating a crisp, clean design.
Reverse Stenciling: Apply paint or ink to your surface, then lay the stencil over it and use a baby wipe or damp cloth to remove the paint from the stencil openings. This technique creates a reverse image of the stencil design.
Mixed Media Layering: Incorporate Dylusions stencils into mixed media projects by combining them with other techniques such as stamping, drawing, or collage. Experiment with different mediums and materials to create dynamic and visually engaging artwork.
