The Cretacolor Charcoal Powder Tub is a fine-grained charcoal powder that opens up special artistic techniques. It is particularly suitable for creating images in large formats, where the focus is on tonal transitions and contrast effects. The charcoal powder can be applied to paper and other absorbent surfaces with a cloth, brush or even the fingers. It is also obvious to use it together with, for example, charcoal pencils and combine their precise lines with surfaces of smudged charcoal powder.
