Clarence has some serious class and elegance in this Christmas edition. That top hat really suits him! Here’s a fun Christmas Card using the Colorize Clarence die set

First things first… make up some elements from your Winter Wardrobe die set
Make up your Colorize Clarence. Sizzix does have a step by step video for every Colorize die which I find really helpful when assembling them, be sure to check it out!
Dress Clarence up!
I stamped a piece of hot pressed watercolour paper with Clear Embossing Ink and then covered with a Clear Embossing Powder – none of which you can see in this image lol
I used the Advert stamp from set CMS358 – a great Christmas background set!
This one never gets old for me! I love the reveal every time!
I inked over the entire cardstock using a blending tool and Distress Ink Pad: Iced Spruce. This suddenly reveals the resist image below
Then I used Archival Ink, Watering Can on the Music Notes stamp and make some impressions of that randomly in the background.
I actually didn’t use a stamping block for this. I prefer to hold the stamp loose in my hand for a random effect
I matted the background onto a piece of white cardstock using double sided tape
I have a stash of already die cut Christmas Greenery in my stash. I find it easier to have it at the ready when I need it. So spending a little time in front of the telly cutting out elements certainly does pay off!
I added some Silver Pearl Liquid Pearls to some of the greenery pieces which brings in the grey of Clarence beautifully
I die cut some stars and inked them with Clear Embossing Dabber and covered with Liquid Platinum embossing powder and heat set.
I actually did 3 coats of embossing powder on each star
Then I added some Picket Fence crayon to a word band. The crayon sticks in the recess of the word band and wipes off the surface
I adhered the greenery into the bottom right hand corner of the card using Collage Medium Matte
I chose to adhere Clarence down using a double sided foam tape so that he was slightly raised from the surface of the card
Then I adhered the embossed stars around Clarence using Collage Medium Matte
I added some white string through the word band and tied that around the base of the card
So dapper!
