I think this kraft box is SO effective! I adore the use of greenery against the kraft backdrop and the Misfit Reindeer tag certainly brings it all together and adds an element of fun and Christmas cheer!

Add some masking tape to the inside of your cardboard box to ensure that it stays clean
Add some Alcohol Pearl: Envy to a mini mister and top up with alcohol blending solution. Apart 3 parts alcohol pearls to 1 part blending solution
Spray your cardboard box with the alcohol pearl mixture. Being alcohol, this ink will adhere to a porous and slick surface. Be sure to do this in a well ventilated area or preferably outside. Depending on the size of your box, you will need to refill your mini mister.
Allow to air dry – it should dry quickly due to the alcohol
Add your present to the box before you seal it up
Being that the box it natural, I used some burlap ribbon to tie the box closed
Now it’s time to use your stash! I have loads of different greenery dies, so I cut a few in different coloured cardstocks. I think the different coloured cardstocks add a nice dimension to the finished product
Colour some Tim Holtz Pearl Baubles with your Envy alcohol Pearl ink. Simply add the baubles to a bottle or packet, add a few drops of ink and shake around until the baubles are covered in the ink and allow to air dry
Once the Envy ink is dry, add a drop or two of Mushroom alcohol ink. Mushroom is always a go to for me! It just adds a little vintage element! Allow to air dry
Using a hot glue gun, attach the greenery as desired to the lid of the box
Using a hot glue gun (be very careful as the pearls are small and the glue is hot!), attach your coloured baubles to the lid as desired
I attached a tag I made earlier using a Tim Holtz Loop Pin.
Quick, easy and so effective! A gorgeous way to turn those boring brown cardboard boxes into something special!
Happy Christmas Crafting!
